 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

The main objective of the conference is to engage in a multifaceted discussion on the multidimensional nature of contemporary security in the social, technological, and environmental spheres, as well as the ongoing legislative process related to civil defense.

In connection with the 35th anniversary of women’s military service in the Polish Armed Forces and the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Women Peace Security Agenda, we especially invite you to discuss the role and use of women’s potential in the above-mentioned areas and beyond.

The event provides an opportunity to reflect on multidimensional security and its various perspectives, which is why we invite representatives of various scientific disciplines to participate in order to enrich the proceedings and exchange knowledge.

For those interested, after paying a separate fee of PLN 499, it is possible to publish an article in a post-conference peer-reviewed scientific monograph included in the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Details in the “PUBLICATION” tab.

Each expert panel lasts 60 minutes, with 45 minutes devoted to discussion and 15 minutes to questions from the audience. Panels usually consist of three experts and a moderator, but depending on the topic of the event, there may be two or four people.

In the open call for applications, we particularly invite academics, doctoral students, ambitious students, soldiers and officers, and experts to participate. Presentations should be within the described thematic area or related to it.

– As important a goal as presenting the research results contained in the papers of the free call is to contribute to the expert debate – for this reason, each conference consists of at least three expert panels.

– The conference library – substantive debate on the most important topics is the primary motivation for the BiRM Institute’s conferences, but that is not all. We believe that our mission does not end with the event itself, which is why after each conference we send out two publication proposals recommended by each of the experts present at the conference.

– In addition to the moderated debate, we provide the opportunity to interact with the experts through Q&A sessions, attendees can ask questions of the experts and make professional contacts.

A compilation of experts from previous conferences can be viewed on the Institute’s website:

– November Kongres Bezpieczeństwa https://instytutbirm.pl/ogolnopolski-kongres-bezpieczenstwa/

– February conference „Kobiety w życiu publicznym” https://instytutbirm.pl/konferencja-naukowa-kobiety-w…/

– March conference „Europa i Unia Europejska” https://instytutbirm.pl/europa-i-unia-europejska…/

April confernce „International Relations and International Law” –

– We do not duplicate topics – our conferences respond to current events and trends. We carefully select topics that matter today and will matter tomorrow.

– Insider nature of the conference – our speakers are not only academics but also practitioners, including: former diplomats, military officers, analysts, entrepreneurs, service officers and people with real-world decision-making experience. This ensures that the analyses presented are deeply grounded in reality and not just theoretical.

– Organiser ignores your emails, you get replies after a week? NOT WITH US! We provide a professional service for your event. We answer all questions up to 24 hours – no person interested in our events is left out in the cold, regardless of whether they have paid for their participation in the event or not yet decided to do so.

𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄

When designing our expert panels, we use the kindness of people associated with the BiRM Institute, but we are not limited to them. We are open to people from outside our community so that different points of view come into play in our debates.

If you would like to share your knowledge and experience during an expert panel at the Institute’s conference, please contact us at o.hajnosz@birm.waw.pl

Experts and specialists invited by the Institute are exempt from participation fees.

The composition of the committees varies from event to event,

so that we avoid having people who are not affiliated with

a particular conference attend. Only people permanently attached to the Institute, such as its director, appear regularly.

Due to the high turnover of members, we make the composition of scientific committees available after a given event, while access to committees from previous events is available via the following links under the “discussion” tab on the Facebook event page:
